Terms of Service
Welcome to TR3D (accessible at https://threed.ma, operated by TR3D Technology Studio, Casablanca, Morocco). By creating an account, browsing 3D models, purchasing credits or passes, or using our escrow fabrication marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Overview of Platform Services
TR3D provides a comprehensive 3D ecosystem comprising:
- AI 3D CAD Generation Studio: Upload 2D image sketches or prompts to generate interactive 3D geometric meshes (.GLB, .STL) and preview them with WebGL.
- Digital CAD Repository: Explore, inspect, and download curated open community 3D assets and print profiles.
- Escrow-Protected Fabrication Marketplace: Direct routing of 3D CAD files to certified partner manufacturing laboratories across Morocco with automated escrow protection.
2. Merchant of Record & Payment Terms (Paddle)
Our digital order processing and international payments are conducted by our online Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle").
When purchasing digital subscription passes (1-Day Pass, 1-Week Pro, 1-Month Studio, 1-Year Enterprise) or account top-ups via credit card or digital wallets, Paddle is the entity that bills your card and handles tax compliance (including VAT/sales tax where applicable).
By completing a checkout through Paddle, you agree to abide by Paddle's Buyer Terms & Conditions.
3. Subscriptions, Passes & Free Quota Terms
- Free Tier: Unfunded accounts receive up to 2 complimentary 3D generations per calendar day.
- Funded & Subscribed Accounts: Accounts with an active pass or positive balance enjoy unlimited 3D mesh generations.
- Single Upfront Plan Fee: Purchasing a pass (e.g. 20 MAD for a 1-Day Pass) unlocks the declared quota of included model downloads (e.g. 20 model downloads) without any secondary download charges.
- Lifetime Re-downloads: Once a user downloads a CAD model, subsequent downloads of that exact model are permanent and free.
- Wallet Security: Funds loaded into your TR3D wallet balance never expire and remain 100% available for funding manufacturing escrow or purchasing future passes.
4. Escrow Manufacturing & Fabrication Rules
When submitting a 3D CAD geometry for physical production by a partner lab:
- Competitive Bidding: Verified certified partner labs review your geometry, required materials (PLA, PETG, SLA UV Resin, PA-12 Nylon), layer tolerances, and submit binding price proposals.
- Escrow Locking: When you accept a lab's proposal, the full agreed price is locked securely into platform escrow.
- 5-Stage Milestone Verification: Fabrication proceeds through sequential milestones (Payment Verified → Toolpathing Verified → 3D Printing → QC Curing → Dispatch & Delivery).
- Automated & Verified Escrow Release: Escrow payout is released to the lab only upon confirmed delivery and successful quality inspection by the client or platform admin.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- User Content: You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over your original uploaded reference images and custom-generated bespoke 3D CAD geometries.
- Platform License: You grant TR3D a non-exclusive license solely to process, render, slice, and transmit your models to partner fabricators for order fulfillment.
- Repository Designs: Community models curated from MakerWorld or public archives remain subject to their respective Creative Commons or open-source licenses.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use TR3D to generate or fabricate:
- Firearms, weapon components, explosive ordnance, or regulated lethal items.
- Infringing intellectual property or counterfeit trademarks.
- Biohazardous, hazardous chemical, or unlawful medical equipment.
- Malicious scripts or automated scraping targeting our CAD engine or APIs.
7. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Digital CAD models and AI estimations are provided "as-is" for prototyping and production purposes. While our certified partner labs maintain strict calibration and ISO-grade dimensional tolerances, TR3D is not liable for structural failures resulting from inappropriate material selection or unverified mechanical stress conditions.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco and applicable international consumer protection regulations. In the event of a dispute, parties agree to first seek amicable resolution through TR3D dispute arbitration before seeking court intervention.
